“Vermilion Sunrise”, 40x30 inches, oil on wood panel. Commissioned painting- the customer wanted a brilliant sunrise with faces hidden in the clouds. I decided to surprise him by making the faces him and his family members, using photos of his family vacations that he had sent me.
